Himmelwerk begins its research collaboration in the field of nuclear fusion with the delivery of the first HGL (120 kW) to the Max Planck Institute for Plasma Physics IPP Garching.
The first HU1 semiconductor inverter leaves our production.
The first tube-based high-frequency generator is built – the beginning of a new era for Himmelwerk.
Gottlob Himmel founds his start-up in Tübingen – a mechanical-optical workshop for the automated ignition of gas lanterns, among other things.
